The
water heater is an appliance that uses a lot of electricity.
Even when your not running the water this heater cycles on
and off continuously. It never stops working. One way to
conserve energy is to wrap the water heater with an extra
layer of insulation. These "blankets" as they are called are
inexpensive to purchase, usually less than $20 and you can
install them yourself.
If you install it yourself this insulating
blanket will pay for its self in just a few months and is
available at hardware stores like Lowes and Home Depot.
